Financial Aid Assistance

 

Complete the FAFSA application for the federal student financial aid. FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The FAFSA is the sole application for federal financial aid programs such as Pell Grants, work-study, and federal student loans.

All students interested in financial aid for college or technical school will need to complete this form. Begin by going to: www.fafsa.ed.gov

Internships | Learning & Development Training Programs 


COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Bronx-Westchester AHEC
Bronx-Westchester Area Health Education Center provide students and practicing health professionals with opportunities, resources, and education to help build a stronger workforce in Bronx and Westchester medically underserved areas.

  • Summer Health Internship Program - provides a six-week summer hospital and community-based health center placement opportunity for juniors and seniors in high school and incoming freshmen and sophomores in college who have expressed an interest in the health field. Students are exposed to a variety of careers in the health fields and to health issues affecting their communities.

  • Junior Student Athletes With Academic Goals (Jr. SWAG) Program - Bronx Westchester AHEC’s, in collaboration with One Hundred Black Men, Junior Student Athletes with Academic Goals program (Jr. SWAG) is an 8-week long spring program for high school student athletes.

  • Bronx-Westchester Area Health Education Center’s Healthy Communities Internship Program (HCIP) is a five-day a week summer program for students who have a strong interest in health care professions, public health, and community health. Students will be given internships in community based organizations that provide services and supports projects that address health disparities.

  • AHEC Scholars is an interdisciplinary learning program for health profession students in their last two years of schooling. Students participate in a 2-year program where they will complete 40 hours of health-related experiential learning and 40 hours of online learning each year. 

  • Continuing Education - Multiple collaborators
